Sam has been a qualified Personal Trainer since 2008. In this time he has gained a wealth of experience in every aspect of health, wellbeing and fitness. Sam’s first role in the industry was as a fitness instructor in Harrow Leisure Centre. During this time he earned vital gym floor experience, took inductions and began to work 1:1 with clients in personal training sessions.
Thanks to a hard-working attitude, a perpetual willingness to learn and improve and great relations with clients, Sam quickly rose through the ranks, winning promotions to senior fitness instructor, and acting health and fitness manager within a year. During this time, Sam also started working for the NHS on an exercise referral scheme, training a wide range of people with certain medical conditions, including obesity and high blood pressure, hyperlipidemia, chronic arthritis, depression and anxiety. This valuable experience has equipped Sam with knowledge and skills to support clients with medical issues as well as fitness training, knowledge he has disseminated to every member of the SH Fitness team. In 2010, Sam started working for Absolute Fitness, owned by Kathryn Freeland: a very well-known and respected personal trainer in the U.K.
During this time working for himself and different companies, Sam supported and trained a wide range of clients including a few celebrities and a few high powered politicians. Working with these high- value, central-London based clients pushed Sam to adapt his practice and deliver quality, bespoke training sessions in a number of environments. Sam is always on the lookout for ways to improve his business, often adapting and improving the way he and his employees train their current clients.
Always looking to evolve, Sam regularly attends seminars and lectures, conventions and organised meetings in the fitness world to make sure he and his team are always at the top of their game and to provide you with the highest-quality personal training possible.
